The family will greet friends from 4:00-7:30 p.m. with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m. Kevin Myers Marshall was born November 24, 1952 to Lowell and Marcia Marshall in Des Moines, Iowa. During his high school years at Adel De Soto, his hard work and admiration achieved him a trip to the state wrestling tournament in 1970 and a third place finish and the team championship. The following year he became a State Champion and proudly graduated with the class of 1971. Once a Tiger, always a Tiger! He then went onto attend NIACC in Mason City, Iowa. On May 23, 1980 he had the privilege of marrying his forever best friend Deloris. Years to follow, the proud parents were blessed with two daughters, Mary Amanda and Hanna Marie. Kevin farmed the family farm for over 29 years and he recently retired from Dallas County Secondary Roads. Kevin greatly enjoyed sharing his passions of Oliver tractors, Ford trucks, Buicks, train horns, camping, riding motorcycles and four wheelers in the mountains of Colorado and in the hills of Arkansas with his beloved family and friends. He also enjoyed ringing hand bells in the bell choir at Panther Creek Church of the Brethren and singing in the quartet “Pat and the Boys”. His heart was overwhelmed at the privileged title of becoming a Papa to his loving “Punky”; Cheyenne Ruth. The family left to embrace his memories are his wife, Deloris (Garrett) Marshall; daughters, Amanda Marshall and Hanna (Joel) Hoskins and their daughter Cheyenne; brothers Charles (Gene) Marshall, Kris (Michelle) Marshall, Clarke (Melody) Marshall; sister Karla (Timothy) Conner; sister-in-laws Peggy (Pete) Kelly and Marylin (Randy) Reynolds; brother-in-law Lowell (Stacy) Garrett; and numerous loved aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Lowell and Marcia (Myers) Marshall; grandparents, Carl and Elva Myers and Carl and Angela Marshall; beloved man’s best friend of 14 years, Crowbar. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be directed to the family for a memorial to be directed later. Online condolences may be left on this site.
