Kimberly Renee McReynolds was born March 15, 1960, the daughter of Robert Duane McReynolds and Jacqueline Lou Shepherd. Kim was joined in marriage to Ronald Bane in 1976 and to this union 3 precious children were born; Justin, Heather and Chance. In 1990, she was married to Robert Crase, until he passed away in 2014. On July 28, 2018, Kim was united in marriage with an intimate ceremony at home to Bill Walton. Kim graduated from Winterset Senior High School in 1978. One of Kim’s greatest traits was caring for others, so it was no surprise when she entered the nursing field. For 24 years she provided for many patients as a Certified Medical Assistant for Mercy Hospital. Co-workers described her as someone that was always willing to go above and beyond her normal duties paying careful attention to detail. Although dedicated to her job, she was truly devoted to her grandchildren. It was quite rare for her to miss any of their activities, and she could be heard cheering them on from the sidelines. Kim and her loving husband Bill cherished their time spent camping and watching football games with family and friends. She is survived by her devoted husband, Bill Walton; her son, Justin (Tamara) Bane; stepsons, Kevin (Erin) Walton, Dennis (Cindy) Crase, Todd (Tammy) Crase; grandchildren, Tage Kaldenberg, Jensen Kaldenberg, Ty Bane, Liam Walton, Colby Crase, Weston Crase, Dakota Crase, Tassie (Elliot) Corwin, and BJ Crase; her father, Robert McReynolds; mother, Jacqueline McCuen; brothers, Kevin Jackson, Mark (Stacy) Jackson; sisters, Bobbi Dean, Jacci McCuen and Missy (Rob) Walton; in-laws, Jan (Gary) Nicols and Eldon Walton; and many other nieces and nephews and extended family and friends. Kim was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Crase; step-father, Forrest McCuen; her son, Chance Bane; and her daughter, Heather Bane.
