Kira Wonser

Kira Lea Wonser was born November 4, 2017, weighing eight pounds, five and one half ounces and twenty one inches long at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines, Iowa. Her birth was greatly anticipated by her Mommy Chelsey Lynn Thomas and Daddy Paul Timothy Wonser. Three little brothers were delighted when Kira was brought home to join their family. Tragically on January 21, 2018, Kira died at the Dallas County Hospital in Perry, Iowa at the very young age of Two Months and Seventeen Days, leaving a host of family and friends devastated. Visitation was January 26, 2018 from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. with family present from 5-7 p.m. at Hastings funeral home in Perry. Funeral services were at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, January 27, 2018 at the funeral home. Words of comfort were offered by Debbie Spidle. Music was by Tracy Amano. Kira was laid to rest at Richland Township Cemetery in Guthrie County. Her precious memory will be cherished by her parents, Paul and Chelsey, her siblings, Silas Gaige Wonser, Phoenix James Wonser, Bennett Lane Wonser, Jayden Riley Wonser, Arianna Quinn Wonser, and Skyler Joslyn Wonser; Maternal grandparents Alan and JoAnn Mundt of Dawson, Bobby and Teresa Thomas of Perry, Anthony Blake of Redding, CA; paternal grandparents Karen Fetgatter and Tim Wonser, great-grandmother Flora Sinkuler (Gary) and Mary Jo Woodard and many aunts and uncles.
