Lam Do Tran

Mass of Christian Burial for Lam will be held at Noon on Tuesday, December 13, 2022, at the Basilica of St. John. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 PM on Monday, December 12, 2022, at Caldwell Parrish Funeral Home & Crematory.

Lam Do Tran was born October 10, 1960, the son of Hai Tran and Tinc Dang in Saigon, Vietnam. He grew up in Saigon and graduated from Tech Vocational in 1982 in Saigon, VN.

Lam married Hue Nguyen and to this union was born one child, Long Tran. Lam came to the United States of America in 1992. He worked for the Des Moines Public School system for 25 years. He enjoyed watching all kinds of sports.

Lam died Tuesday, December 6, 2022, at the age of  62.

He is survived by his wife, Hue Nguyen and son, Long Tran.
