Lee Ann Hills

Lee Ann Hills was born October 5, 1953 in Des Moines, Iowa. Lee passed away at home on April 4, 2021. Lee grew up in Des Moines and graduated from East High School. While raising her children, Lee also worked a full-time job at Capital Cab Company, which later was acquired by Hertz Rental Car. Lee worked at Hertz Corporation for over 40 years and received numerous promotions over the years. Lee was well-liked and well-known by many people at Hertz locations all across the U.S. Lee retired from Hertz as a Senior Station Manager in October 2018. Lee enjoyed spending time with her family, going on road trips, watching movies, going to the drive-in and she loved playing cards with the girls. When Lee was younger, she liked going bowling, swimming & dancing. Lee was a very caring person who loved helping people. Lee had a great sense of humor and she enjoyed playing pranks on people and making everyone laugh. Lee is survived by her daughter, Michelle Rollins, son-in-law, Patrick Rollins, her grandsons, Sean Rollins and Joseph Rollins, granddaughter-in-law, Sylvia Rollins, stepmother, Pat Hills, Step-Aunt, Jean Bohmke, sister Kim Bodine and nieces and nephews. Lee was preceded in death by her son, Chad Hills, her father, Fred Hills, and her mother, Catherine Cardenas. The family will hold a memorial and a celebration of life event at a later date.
