Lena D. Jenkins - Adel

Lena Delores Jenkins was born December 20, 1937 to Carroll and Martha Burnham in Dallas County, Iowa. She went to be with the Lord on November 19, 2014 at Community Care Center in Stuart, Iowa surrounded by her family. Funeral services will be 11 A.M. Saturday at McCalley Funeral Home in Adel with burial following at Morrisburg Cemetery. Family will greet friends from 10 A.M. until service time. Before living at CCC in Stuart, she lived several years in Adel at Adel Manor. Lena enjoyed her flowers, watching birds, reading, scrapbooking and many friends. She retired from Custom Printing Mailing after numerous years. Lena is survived by five children: Carroll (Enola), Connie (Bill), Cheryl (James), Tom (Susan), and DeEtta (Kirk); 12 grandchildren: Zachary, Heidi, Mandy, James, Josh, Justin, Tessa, Derrick, Ava, Kenny, Kyle and Kayla; 10 great-grandchildren and numerous family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Dean and Richard; and sister in law, Georgia. Memorial contributions can be directed to Community Care Center Activity Fund in Stuart.
