Lenore Langlois

Lenore Lorraine Langlois, 75, died on Thursday, March 2, 2017 at Deerfield Retirement Community in Urbandale. Mass of Christian burial will be 11 a.m., Tuesday, March 7 at St. Pius X Catholic Church in Urbandale. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m., Monday, March 6 with a vigil service at 7 p.m., at Caldwell Parrish Funeral Home & Crematory in Urbandale. Interment will be 2 p.m. at the Iowa Veterans Cemetery in Adel. Lenore was born November 15, 1941 in Chicago, Illinois to Edwin and Eleanor Kurzawski. She graduated from St. Augustine High School in Chicago. Lenore married Robert Langlois on November 21, 1959. They moved to Iowa in 1974 where they raised their family. Lenore enjoyed crocheting, watching Ghost Adventures and Paranormal Lockdown, vacationing with her sister and brother-in-law and spending time on Facebook admiring pictures of her grandchildren. Lenore was a two-time breast cancer survivor. Lenore is survived by her children, Christine (Jon) Coy, Robert (Cindy), Ellyn (Greg) Reel, Sheri (Rich) Feichtner; grandchildren, Michael (fiancé, Julie Wiatrowski Young) Coy, Eric (Cassandra) Coy, Ashley Langlois, Lindsey (fiancé, Timm Downey) Langlois, Tyler Langlois, Colby Langlois, Tabitha Wilson, Emily Reel, David Reel, Jonathan Reel, Trevor Hempel, Michelle Hempel, Marga Hempel, Nicco Feichtner, Vince Feichtner; great grandchildren, Peyton Langlois, Karson Warner, Mason Warner, Bryce Kytola, Adalynn Downey, Oliva Coy, Jace Wilson, Erin Young and Aubrey Skow; sister, Diane (Hugh) Smith Jr. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and grandson, Ryan Langlois. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be given to Mercy Hospice or Hope Ministries.
