Leone Walton

Leone Walton, 101, of Johnston passed away on Tuesday, September 16, 2014 at Mercy Hospice. She was a resident of Matrina Place in Johnston. Leone was born on February 14, 1913 in Marion County, IA to John and Lydia Frobasa. She had lived in Melcher, IA and Chicago, IL before moving to Urbandale in 1945. She was a retired Dental Assistant from Urbandale Dental. Prior to that, she was a Co-Owner of a Super Value Grocery Store in Urbandale from 1945 to 1955. She is survived by her Daughter, Carol (Vic) Kennedy of Windsor Heights, 5 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, and 4 great great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; Husband, Clarence; Daughter, Patricia Kruse; and 4 sisters. Leone requested that no services are held.
