Linda Berry

Linda Marie Berry, 68, of Adel, returned to the Kingdom of Heaven on Wednesday, May 22, 2019, after a courageous battle with cancer. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 25, 2019 at Faith Lutheran Church in Adel with burial at Oakdale Cemetery. Family will greet friends at the church Saturday, May 25th from 9:00 a.m. until service time. God sent her to be a beautiful example of his love on January 21, 1951, to Clemon and Mary Cahail. Born the 4th of 10 children, she was the oldest daughter. She became the heart of her siblings: Lee (Jill) Cahail, Larry and Lester Cahail, Luanne (Jim) Gift, Lila (Bud) Kirk, Lorene Smith, Lory Sauzo, Linette Cahail and Lana (Ron) Fagen. Linda became the beloved wife to Norville Franklin Berry on June 10, 1966. She raised two daughters, Marcella (Tom) of Adel and Elizabeth (Mark) of Adel; six grandchildren, Josh, Samantha, Jeremiah, Ashley and Alexander Downing and Sophia Berry. Greeting her in heaven was her husband, Norville; her nephew, Tracy Riess; her brothers, Lee, Ron, Bud and Jim, and her mother and father.
