Linda Suann Stufflebeam

Celebration of Life Service for Linda SuAnn Stufflebeam was held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 16, 2016 at the Bouton Community Center. Rev. Rick Miller of the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Bouton provided words of comfort. Linda SuAnn Stufflebeam, daughter of Lawrence Frederick Rothfus and Dorothy Ann Nystrom Rothfus, was born February 16, 1952 in Perry and died July 13, 2016 at the Dallas County Hospital in Perry. Linda graduated from Perry High School in 1970. She worked for NW Bell, Qwest, U.S. West, Century Link operator, lineman, installer-repair person and cable repair for a total of 35 years. Linda retired in 2006. She traveled extensively to Kentucky, Tennessee, South Dakota, North Dakota and the Mall of America. Linda enjoyed crafts like sewing, knitting, crocheting, making clothes, and tatting. She loved her family most of all. Linda didn't have to worry about time She relaxed and enjoyed retirement. Linda was preceded in death by her father Lawrence (2003), brother Rex (1998) and nephew Fred Ralph. Linda is survived by her husband Bill; mother Dorothy Rothfus; daughter Sabrina; son Lance, all of Perry; son William (Kathy) of East Des Moines; five grandchildren: Jaccub Crowe, Alisha, Meagan, Elaine and Scully Stufflebeam; brother Ron Rothfus (Diane) of Woodward; sisters Barb Heuton (Eddie) of Booneville and Beth Hutton of Urbandale; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
