Lonnie Glynn Haag, 74, of Winterset died on Sunday, May 3, 2020, at Madison County Memorial Hospital in Winterset. There will be no visitation or funeral service, per Lonnie's request. The body will be cremated. He was born on Oct. 2, 1945, in Louisville, Ky., to Charles K. Haag, Sr. and Cleona M. McConnell, née West. Lonnie was married to Mary Ann Linton, and reared two children together, Connie and Glynn. He owned a juice delivery company in Louisville before moving to Clearwater, Fla., in 1980. Lonnie was a resident of Iowa for the past 25 years, and had been a resident of Winterset since 2008. He was known as always being a jokester and for his good sense of humor. Lonnie was preceded in death by his parents, Charles K. Haag, Sr. and Cleona M. McConnell; and two grandchildren, Shelby Thomas and Stephen Thomas. He is survived by his wife, Mary Haag of Winterset; two children, Connie (Jeff) Binns and Glynn A. Haag, both of Winterset; and six grandchildren; Dylan Thomas of Virginia Beach, Va., Anita Thomas of St. Louis, Mo., Taylor Thomas of Des Moines, Ellie Thomas of West Des Moines, Sydney Haag of Ellis, Kan., and Edwin Binns of Winterset.
