Lori L. 'Formerly Of Adel' Grimes Mcguire - Des Moines

Lori Lynn Grimes (McGuire) died August 25, 2015 from complications of cancer. Memorial services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 29, 2015 at McCalley Funeral Home in Adel, with burial following at Oakdale Cemetery in Adel. Family will greet friends from 10:00 am until service time. Classic cars are welcome. Lori was born October 23, 1957 in Adel. She graduated from Adel High School and AIB in Des Moines. She worked for Preferred Risk Insurance for 14 years. Lori met Stan McGuire at Porky's Restaurant in 1992 and they married June 25, 2012. She loved working with her flowers and traveling the countryside, going to car shows and meeting people. Lori is survived by her husband, Stan; her mom, Janice Grimes of Fort Collins, CO and her aunt, Sharon Prince of Jamaica, Iowa. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the American Cancer Society. Online condolences may be left at this site.
