Lucinda Kay Gloshen, 74, of Des Moines, IA, passed away, Thursday, November 30, 2023 at her residence surrounded by her family. Cremation rites have been accorded. Online condolences may be sent to www.caldwellparrish.com
Lucinda was born to Daryl and Louise Fetters in Des Moines on October 9, 1949. She graduated from Flour Bluff High School in Corpus Christi, TX in 1989. At the age of 17, she married her best friend George Gloshen in Corpus Christi. To this marriage they have four daughters. Lucinda worked at Turners Greenhouse in Texas and this made her fall in love with gardening any kind of tropical plant. You could always find her painting, reading, crocheting and watching NCIS. She will be truly missed by her family and friends.
She is survived by her four daughters; Cuma Gloshen of Cuero, TX, Veronica Gregory of Corpus Christi, Tiffany (Melvin Dalton) Gloshen of Des Moines, Tonja (Dillan) Bolich of Burwick, IA, eleven grandchildren, many great grandchildren, one sister, Lynette Golay, many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, George, parents, Daryl and Louise, two brothers, Greg and Mark Fetters.
