Lucy Mae Bowlsby

Lucy Mae Bowlsby, baby girl of Jeremy Bowlsby and Courtney Stone, was born March 15, 2010 at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines. Her parents learned early on in her life that she was born with Walker Warburg Syndrome, a genetic disorder, and that her life would be short. Lucy Mae was an inspiration to all. She touched the lives of many from the very young to elderly. She was truly loved by her parents, older sister, grandparents and everyone who came across her path. On Friday evening, September 24, 2010, with her family at her side, Lucy Mae went home to be with Jesus. Living beyond everyone’s expectations she was blessed by living six months and nine days. Those left to cherish her memory include her loving parents, Jeremy Bowlsby and Courtney Stone; an older sister, Jadie Bowlsby; maternal grandparents, David and Becky Noble & Max and Jodee Stone; paternal grandparents, Jerry and Faith Bowlsby & Harlan and Cindy Wetzel; great grandparents, Dorothy Bowlsby, Daryl and Linda Reynolds, Bettie and John Andrew, Betty and Dick Filbrandt, and Kathryn Stone. Also, survived by loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Funeral Services 11 a.m. Monday, September 27th at the Winterset Community Church. Visitation will take place for one hour prior to services. Memorials to Lucy Mae's name to be used at the discretion of the family will be accepted.
