Lynelle Meyer

Lynelle Meyer, 67, of Atlantic, passed away peacefully at the EveryStep Kavanaugh House in Des Moines on Thursday, April, 10, 2025.

Lynelle was born on December 6, 1957 to Clayton and Margaret (Moller) Meyer. She attended Davenport West High School and later Iowa State University. For a large portion of her life, she worked for American Bank and Trust in West Des Moines. Lynelle was a member of the Des Moines PEO - Chapter KD, The Roadrunners, and STIR.

Lynell is survived by her brother, Charles Meyer of Tacoma, WA. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clayton and Margaret Meyer.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, April 26, 2025 at the Immanuel United Methodist Church of Des Moines. Lynelle has given one of life's greatest gifts of education by donating her body to Des Moines University for medical research. Memorial donations may be directed to the P.E.O. Foundation, c/o P.E.O.
