Madeline Daugharthy

Madeline Daugharthy, 63, of Earlham, went on her journey home on February 26, 2021 at Mercy West Lakes in Des Moines. A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m., Thursday, March 4, 2021 at the Earlham Church of Christ in Earlham. A visitation will be held one hour prior from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in the Earlham Cemetery. Masks are required, please practice social distancing. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Earlham Church of Christ in her memory. Madeline Mary Daugharthy was born in Woonsocket, Rhode Island on September 28, 1957, the daughter of Anthony and Theresa Barroso. She was very proud of her and her husband’s business and loved her job as a cab driver. She loved her church family, her complex family and her flower gardens. She collected roosters, snowmen, angels, china dolls, and lighthouses. She loved her flowers on her porch and enjoyed the birds with her friend. She also enjoyed quilting, needlepoint, and puzzles. She is survived by her sisters, Margaret Stone and Janet (Howard) Foster; Molly, her pride possession; and many friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bradford Daugharthy; her parents; her grandparents; and several aunts and uncles.
