Margaret Dorrell

West Des Moines Margo (Margaret Ann Ford) Dorrell, 79, passed away peacefully on April 11, 2014 at Fountain West Care Facility. Margo was born December 14, 1934 on a farm near Laurens, Iowa, the daughter of John and Margaret Ford. She is survived and lovingly remembered by her daughters, Joan (Kevin Kutz), Judy Ramirez (Steve), and son Steve; eight grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren; sisters Ellen Sandvig (Kenny) and Kay Filloon, brother-in-law Kenneth Dorrell, and many other loving relatives and special friends. Margo was preceded in death, by her loving and devoted husband of 45 years, Keith Dorrell, sisters; Mary, Fran, and Gert, brother Bob, daughter-in-law Mavis, great grandson Alex, and her parents. Funeral mass will be at 11:00 am on Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at St Francis of Assisi Catholic Church at 7300 Ashworth Road, in West Des Moines. Family will greet friends one hour prior to services. Internment will take place at Laurens Catholic Cemetery at a later date. Visitation will be from 4:00-6:00 pm on Tuesday, April 15 at Caldwell Raddatz Funeral Home and Crematory. The family would like to thank all of Margo's caregivers, doctors, and nurses, for their love and comfort over the years, especially the staffs of Fountain West Care and Wesley Acres Care facilities. Memorial contributions may be made to the family in loving memory of Margo.
