Maria Eugenia Gonzalez De Ruiz

~ Maria Eugenia Gonzalez De Ruiz was born December 28, 1942 in Tacambaro, Mexico to Arnulfo Gonzalez and Guadalupe Garcia. She grew up in Mexico and married Morelos Antonio Ruiz on May 21, 1964. Maria moved to Perry, Iowa in 1993 where she became a member of the St. Patrick's Catholic Church. She loved to plant flowers in the garden. Maria had numerous recipe books that she would make her wonderful food from. What she loved most was spoiling everyone especially her grandchildren. Maria died on August 17, 2023 at her home in Perry, Iowa. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband. She will be dearly missed by her children: Arnulfo Antonio Ruiz, Fernando Ruiz, Maria Guadalupe Ruiz, Patricia Maria Eugenia Ruiz, Morelos Antonio Ruiz, and Walter Adrian Ruiz; 19 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; nine brothers and sisters, other relatives, and many friends. ~ Mara Eugenia Gonzlez De Ruiz naci el 28 de diciembre de 1942 en Tacmbaro, Mxico, hija de Arnulfo Gonzlez y Guadalupe Garca. Creci en Mxico y se cas con Morelos Antonio Ruiz el 21 de mayo de 1964. Mara se mud a Perry, Iowa en 1993, donde se convirti en miembro de la Iglesia Catlica de San Patricio. Ella ser muy extraada por sus hijos: Arnulfo Antonio Ruiz, Fernando Ruiz, Mara Guadalupe Ruiz, Patricia Mara Eugenia Ruiz, Morelos Antonio Ruiz y Walter Adrin Ruiz; 19 nietos; 33 bisnietos; 2 tataranietos; nueve hermanos y hermanas, otros parientes y muchos amigos. Mass will be held at 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 22, 2023 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Perry. Hastings Funeral Home in Perry is in charge of these arrangements.
