Marjorie L. Frantum, 87, of Jamaica, died Sunday, November 25, 2007 at the Dallas County Hospital in Perry. Marjorie was born on September 21, 1920 to Peter Garland and Mable O'Connell Garland. She was united in marriage to Ralph Frantum on June 14, 1941 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Bayard, Iowa. They were parents of three sons. They lived near Woodward on the Frantum home place from 1941-1945 when they moved to their home new Jamaica. She continued to live on the farm after Ralph died until July 2007. She liked to play cards, and was a wonderful dancer. She was still line dancing at her 85th birthday party. She was a member of st. Joseph's Catholic Church, Jamaica, until they closed; she then became a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Perry. Preceding Marjorie in death was her husband, Ralph; parents; brother, Julius Garland; sister, Darlene McDermott. Suvivors include three sons, Terry Frantum, Keith (Jackie)Frantum, and Duane(Mickey) Frantum; seven grandchildren, Brian(Beth)Frantum, Corey Frantum, Scott (Amber) Frantum, Chad Frantum and fiance Trisha, Shane (Leslie)Frantum, Tina 9Robert) Kafer, Tracy (Tim)Randall; ten great-grandchilren, Collin, Cailey, Faith, Olivia, Joseph and Anna Frantum, Colby and Makala Kafer, and Taylor and Tanner Randall; sisters-in-law, Stella Smith, and Mary Frantum; nieces, nephes, other relatives and many friends.
