Marjorie Logan

Marjorie Louise Logan (formerly Carlson) went to be with her Lord and Savior on May 3, 2016. The daughter of Minnie Belle (Lincoln) and Phillip Walter Dewey was born on July 27, 1920 on the family farm in Coal Creek Township, Montgomery County, Indiana. She is survived by two brothers, Phil Dewey of Urbandale, and Lloyd Dewey (Dianna) of Indiana; daughter Carol Harrop (Rob) of Largo, Florida; sons Jim Carlson (Val) of Windsor Heights, and Gerald V. Jerry Carlson II (Ann Hilliard-Carlson) of Des Moines, and eight grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Memorial contributions may be made to the family to be designated at a later date. A visitation will be held on Monday, May 9, 2016 from 9:30-10:30 at St. Johns Lutheran Church, 600 6th Ave. Des Moines, IA 50309 with a funeral service at 11:00 AM at the church.
