Marjorie Mae Walzer

Marjorie Walzer, age 83 of Perry, passed away on Sunday, December 26, 2021, at the Kings Garden Campus of Perry Lutheran Homes in Perry, IA. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 30, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. at the Carris Family Funeral Home & Cremation Care in Perry. Visitation will be on Wednesday, December 29, 2021, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Carris Family Funeral Home & Cremation Care in Perry. Burial will be in the Violet Hill Cemetery at Perry, IA. Memorials will be given to St. Martins Episcopal Church and may be left at the funeral home. Marjorie Mae Walzer was born on September 7, 1938, at Atlantic, IA to Willard and Marjorie (Heath) Knight. She graduated from High School at Atlantic, IA. She was united in marriage to William Ferd Walzer at Fort Collins, CO on January 24, 1958. She worked in Perry at various retail stores and the then retired from the Family Credit Union. She was a member of the St. Martin's Episcopal Church in Perry. Marjorie enjoyed crocheting, playing Solitaire, collecting Boyds Bears, being with family for holidays, and going out for lunch with her friends. In death she rejoins her husband William Walzer, parents, Willard and Marjorie Knight, sisters, Shirley Ratashak, Sharon James, Joyce Wolfe, and Linda Wood, and a brother, Willard Knight.
