Marlene Ann Weber, 70, of Winterset, passed away December 21, 2020 at Mercy Hospital in Des Moines after a long battle with Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. Marlene was born on September 30, 1950 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Ralph and Mary (Litter) Culver. Marlene worked as a secretary for many different law firms over the years. She married Larry Weber on March 21, 2000 in Wichita, Kansas. Marlene and Larry enjoyed 20 years of marriage together. In 2016, Marlene and Larry moved from Milwaukee to Winterset. In her free time, Marlene enjoyed reading a good book, making jewelry and scrapbooking. She liked being outdoors as much as she could gardening and fly fishing with her husband Larry while they lived in Wisconsin. Marlene is survived by her husband, Larry Weber; son, Michael (Tasha Newman) Lowe; daughter, Cori (Steve) Collie; step-sons, Brian (Ellen) Weber and Daniel (Becca Sudduth) Weber; grandchildren, Taytton and Toby Lowe, and Rae Newman; step-grandchildren, Evelyn and Jack Weber; and sisters, Marilyn O’Rourke, Theresa Uhrman, and Denise (Jeff) Zank. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Mary Culver; and granddaughter Malaina Collie.
