Marvin D. Cohenour

Marvin Duane Cohenour Jr. 54, passed away peacefully amongst family May 3, 2015. Memorial services will be 7 p.m. Thursday, May 7, at McCalley Funeral Home in Adel. Friends may call after 3 p.m. at the funeral home where family will greet friends from 5-7 p.m. when services begin. Private family burial will be at Iowa Veterans Cemetery. Marvin was born January 19, 1961 in Des Moines to Marvin and Patricia Cohenour. Marvin was a member of Sheet Metal Workers Local 45 and worked for Taylors Ind. Marvin also previously owned Air Tech Heating and Cooling and The Rendezvous Lounge, both in Adel, IA. He was a hard worker and enjoyed spending time with family. Survivors include his wife, Sylvia; children, Bridget, Marvin and Ryan; four grandchildren; mother, Patricia and brothers, Monte and Mark. He was preceded in death by his father, Marvin Dwain Cohenour. His family wishes to extend their appreciation to the nurses and staff at On With Life in Glenwood, IA.
