Merilyn L. Danley

Merilyn was born May 6, 1934 in Des Moines, Iowa. He was the son of Homer and Evelyn (Clements) Danley. He was married to Florence Blauer and later Rose Ellen Reimann, who both preceded him in death. He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, Florence, his second wife, Rose Ellen; and a step-daughter, Nona Jill Rudolf. Merilyn was employed as a truck driver for the Madison County Road Department for many years. His hobbies included riding his motorcycle, hunting, bowling, shooting pool and he especially took pride in caring for his vehicles. Survivors include his sister, Carolyn Ham of Winterset; five step-sons, Loren Ray Little of Dallas, TX; Randall William Berch and his wife, Andrea, of Peru; Zachery Johnathan Berch of Ashby, NE; John Herman Berch and his wife, Susan of Peru; James Brian Berch of Truro; 9 step-grandchildren; 4 step-great grandchildren; a niece; two nephews and special friend, Beverly Maxwell of Winterset. Burial will be private at a later date in the Jefferson-Goar Cemetery, Jefferson Township, Madison County, Iowa Visitation: 2:00 to 8:00 p.m., where family will be present to receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Monday, October 10, 2005 at Ochiltree Funeral Service & Aftercare Service: 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, October 11, 2004 at Ochiltree Funeral Service & Aftercare Memorial: Memorial contributions may be directed to Middle River Hopsice.
