Michael Clifton

Michael Jay Clifton, passed away at MercyOne Medical Center, June 12, 2023 at the young age of 56. In respect to Mike’s wishes and the family, there will be no services held. A celebration of life will take place July 9, 2023 from 12:00pm to 4:00PM at the Dallas County Fairgrounds.. Mike was born January 19, 1967 to Arnold and Janet Clifton. He attended to ADM high school. He worked in construction most of his life and most currently worked at Kate-Lo tile in Urbandale IA at the time of his passing.

Mike had three children and made his home in Des Moines and later in rural Adel. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He loved fishing camping shooting and watching races. He loved riding and working on motorcycles, he was always ready to lend a helping hand, offer simple advice or simply be a listening ear. Mike's presence brought comfort and joy to those fortunate enough to have known him

. No matter the circumstances, he always had a smile on his face that would radiate positivity to those around him.

He is survived by his wife, Bobette; three biological children from previous marriage all of Des Moines; two daughters Katie (Josh) Fenton and Brianna (Johnny) Alexander of and a son Michael Clifton of; two bonus children Kenny (Nicole) Thelen of Roland, IA, Kim (Mitchell) Hanysh of Boone, IA; four grandchildren Addison, Brian, Kayla Klayden and one on the way; sister Debbie Meiners and several aunts uncles and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his parents Arnold and Janet Clifton, brother Scott Clifton, his grandparents; and aunt; two uncles and several cousins.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the family.
