Michael Mcfarland

Michael McFarland was born March 31, 1948 in Leon, Iowa to Jack and Niada (Honn) McFarland. Michael was a Navy Veteran and worked as an Operating Engineer for Corell Construction. He had many skills and enjoyed being a jack of all trades which included woodworking and creating wacky cooking recipes. Michael was preceded in death by his parents. Michael died Saturday, June 13, 2009 at his home. He was 61. He is survived by his three sons, Chad (Stephanie) McFarland of Clarksville, MO; Tax (fianc'e Donna Auten) McFarland of Winterset, and Dusty McFarland of Des Moines. He also leaves behind his siblings, Pamela (David) Sato; Jerry (Debbie) McFarland; Renee Klingaman; Ricky (Mary) McFarland; Becky McFarland; Geoffrey (Lisa) McFarland; Rodney (Jennifer) McFarland; 4 grandchildren (Killian, Cade, Hunter and Rayvon McFarland) and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation: 3:00 to 6:00 p.m., Thursday, prior to funeral services June 18, 2009 at Ochiltree Funeral Service, Winterset.
