Michael Montinguise

Michael Anthony Montinguise was born February 11, 1956 to Anthony and Dorothy (Critz) Montinguise. Michael attended St. Theresa's Catholic school, Dowling Catholic High School and Simpson College. Throughout most of his life Mike or Monty as he was known by his friends worked in retail. Mike married Diane Hanes in 1985. Together they had two sons Anthony Joseph and Christopher Nicholas. Along with Diane's daughter Jennifer they enjoyed life together making their family their priority. They were blessed with grandchildren ~ Zoe, Chantz, Jaxxon, Tristian and Jonah. Mike "Monty" had so many friends and he stayed in touch with all of them. One of his friends said that Mike never mistreated anyone and he was a great person that everyone loved - Mike had a personality like no other - he could and would make conversation with everyone. His quick wit, sense of humor and engaging demeanor will be missed by everyone who knew him. He loved music, he loved dancing with his beloved wife Diane and he loved the Green Bay Packers. He was the "golden child" to his Dad and after his father died in 1997 Mike called his Mother every morning and every night without fail to honor the request from his Dad before he passed away to "take care of your Mother "- he was always a loving son. Mike is survived by his Mother, Dorothy Montinguise, Sons Tony and Christopher Montinguise, step-daughter Jennifer Russell (Jim), five grandchildren, sisters Sharon Foddrill, Debra Krause (Mike) and Christy Westover (Dennis). Many family members who do not know how they will ever get over losing Mike but know he is where he wants to be ~ with the love of his life Diane. Mike was preceded in death by his Father Anthony "Hank" Montinguise and his beloved wife Diane. Along with many cherished loved ones. Thank you all for coming to honor our one of a kind son, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin and friend Michael - our hearts are broken In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Michael's family.
