Following services in Winterset, Mickey will be taken to Orleans, Nebraska where a funeral will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, December 20, 2008 at the Orleans Presbyterian Church. The family will gather at the church to receive friends from 9:00 a.m. until service time Saturday. Mickey is survived by her children, Debra Jane (Lehmer) Herbert (Dan) of Lexington, Nebraska and Donald Wayne Lehmer of Lincoln, Nebraska; two sisters, Doris Cooper (Ronald) of Creston and Carol Jacobs (Jake) of Winterset; six grandchildren; four great grandchildren; close friends, Dick and Pat; several nieces, nephews and a host of friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Dorothy Herren. Mickey was born January 25, 1927 in Madison County, Iowa (near Macksburg), the daughter of Glen and Pauline (Klos) Campbell. She married Ray Lehmer and to this union two children were born, Debra and Donald. Mickey was born and raised in Madison County. She lived in Orleans, Nebraska for a time and has lived in the Winterset area since 2000. She did custodial work for nursing homes, including B&D in Holdrege, Nebraska and Walker Post Manor in Oxford. She was baptized and confirmed in the Presbyterian Church of Orleans, Nebraska and attended the First Christian Church of Winterset. Mickey enjoyed playing cards. She loved people and people loved to be around her. Visitation: 2 to 7 p.m., Monday, where the family will be present to receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m., December 15, 2008 at Ochiltree Funeral Service, Winterset. Service: 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, December 16, 2008 at The First Christian Church, Winterset. Memorial: Memorial contributions may be directed to the Winterset Care Center South Activity Fund.
