Mildred Redden

Mildred Redden, 87, of Winterset, died Wednesday, November 24, 2010 at Westbridge Care and Rehab. A private family graveside service will be held in the Saint Joseph Memorial Park Cemetery in Saint Joseph, MO. Mildred Maxine Hamilton was born August 15, 1923 in Mt. Ayr, the daughter of Carl and Glenna (Burch) Hamilton. She graduated from Central High School in Saint Joseph, MO and later married William Redden who preceded her in death in 1988. Mildred was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the V.F. W. and enjoyed working cross word puzzles but more than anything, she loved time spent with family, especially her grandchildren. Mildred is survived by a son, Carl Crow of Prescott, AZ; three step-sons, Gary (Linda) Redden; Randy (Lana) Redden and Mike (Linda) Redden all of Saint Joseph, MO. She is also survived by four grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, two step grandchildren and four step great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; a sister, Cathalene Hirter and a daughter-in-law, Kathy Crow.
