Millie Annis

Mildred “Millie” Annis, 77, of Lorimor, Passed away on Thursday, October 26, 2023 at her home.

Millie was born on March 21, 1946 to Albert and Eva (Pressley) Wimmer. She attended school

in Des Moines at Des Moines Lincoln. She married Sonny Annis in 1963 in Ottumwa, Iowa.

Millie enjoyed reading books in her free time, especially romance novels. She liked to listen to

oldies country music. Whenever she got the chance, she enjoyed visiting family. She enjoyed

playing cards with her grandkids. Millie loved her kids, grandchildren and her great

grandchildren. She loved more than anything watching her grandkids grow up and she was

happy to see her great grandkids be born. She had the best bond with her kids and grandkids.

Millie is survived by her husband, Sonny; sons, Pete Annis and John (Lisa Wilson) Annis; son-

in-law Bob Bullock; sister, Darlene Neer; 6 grandchildren, Chelsey (Andrew) Robison, Zach

Bullock, Tiffany (Wade Hiatt) Misel, Taylor Annis, Minnie, and Ty Annis; and 3 great grandchildren,

Sullivan McMurray, Franklin Misel, and Dennyson Bullock. She was preceded in

death by her parents, a daughter, Tammy Bullock; and brothers, Willard Wimmer and Ivan

Wimmer.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be directed to the

family for a future designation.
