Mina Saysana

Mina Saysana, 100 of Pleasant Hill passed away, January 8th, 2023 at 9:05pm surrounded by family in Des Moines. A visitation will be held Saturday January 14, 2022 from 9:00AM to 11:00AM at Caldwell Parrish Funeral Home & Crematory in Urbandale, IA. A funeral service will be held at 11:00AM at the funeral home.

Mina was born on February 10, 1922 in Savannaket Laos and came to the United States in 1980. Mina loved being outdoors and enjoyed gardening. She also enjoyed watching movies and listening to her Laotian music. Mina was a women of God and a strong believer in faith and was loved by everyone who knew her. Mina treated everyone equally and couldn’t have been a better mother, wife grandmother sister and friend. She will be missed dearly by her family and friends.

Mina was survived by her children Vongvilay Khanthongdy, phoukong Saysana, Souriyong Khanthongdy, Khambong Phothisane, Khambo Saengkeo and Khampay Daobondon along with 30 grandchildren. As well as a wealth of extended family members.
