Mona Anderson

Mona Marie Anderson was born September 18, 1934 in Yale, Iowa to parents Orville and Cynthia Scott. She graduated from Panora High School in 1953. On April 1, 1955 she married Robert William Anderson. Together, they raised three children in Waukee, Iowa. Later, Mona worked as a school bus driver for the Waukee Community School District, retiring after over 20 years.

Mona loved sewing and crafts. She could always be found with a sewing, crocheting or quilting project in her hands. All who knew her likely have a drawer full of her dish towels. She also enjoyed crosswords, feeding wild birds and her pet parakeets.

Mona was preceded in death by her parents, Orville and Cynthia, sister Myra Woods, and brother Ival Scott.

She is survived by husband Robert, brother Dwayne Scott, son Bobby (Deb) Anderson, daughter Wanda (Scott) Harter, son Richard (Cindy) Anderson, nine grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. She will be greatly missed.
