Mr Brian Lee Cregeen

Brian Lee Cregeen, son of Melvin and Evelyn Cregeen was born on February 16, 1964 at Clarinda, Iowa and died on April 22, 2013, at the Dallas County Hospital in Perry. Brian was 49 years old. Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 27, 2013 at the Hastings Funeral Home in Perry, Iowa. Visitation was after 12:00 p. m. on Friday with family present from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. The Reverend Alice Bolen of the First Christian Church of Runnells, Iowa provided words of comfort. Honorary casket bearers were Terry Cregeen, Chris Cregeen, Jeff Cregeen and Gary Titchener. Recorded music played was Forever and Ever, Amen. Interment will be at the Violet Hill Cemetery in Perry on Monday, April 29, 2013. Brian attended school at Perry, Iowa and lived in Perry for most of his life. On April 21, 1990 Brian married Michelle Larson and they had one son, Chris. Brian worked as a truck driver and mechanic in the Perry area. Brian enjoyed crossword and jigsaw puzzles, sports, fishing and particularly mushroom hunting. Brian was preceded in death by his mother Evelyn. Brian is survived by his wife Michelle and son Chris, both of Perry; his father Melvin Cregeen of Perry; brothers Terry and Jeff of Perry, sisters Sherry Freestone of Perry, Lori Cregeen-Titchener (Gary) of Perry and Debbie Cregeen of Perry; aunt Marcy Dergan of Omaha, NE; Marilyn Bailey (Leon) of MO, Ada Varner of Madrid and uncles Mort Cregeen of Billings, Montana and Mike Cregeen of Omaha, NE.
