Mr Cary Hardie Wells Ii

Cary Hardie Wells II, son of Jody (Dunn) Wells and Guy Wells was born on July 1, 1990 at Pensacola, Florida and died on April 20, 2013 in rural Marion County, Iowa. Cary was 22 years, 9 months and 20 days old. Funeral services were held at 7:00 p.m. at the Hastings Funeral Home in Perry, Iowa. Visitation was after 12:00 p.m. on Thursday with family present from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Terry Carmichael of the Heartland Church of Christ in Perry provided words of comfort. Honorary casket bears were Christopher Howarth, Dillon Sage, Rocky Kirk, Davy Kirk, Brice Smith, Nick Kirk, Dusty Dunn and Jake Fisher. Recorded music played was Knockin on Heaven's Door, Forever Young and Pumped up Kick's. Cary graduated from the East-Greene Community School in Grand Junction and lived most of his life in the Perry area. Cary worked in the construction industry primarily as a welder. Cary enjoyed all outdoors activities, hunting, fishing, camping and sports. His favorite football teams were the Florida Gators and Miami Dolphins. Cary was preceded in death by his grandfather, Donald Dunn of Perry and uncle Toby Kirk of Texas. Cary is survived by his children, Kadince J. and Hunter J. Wells of Pella, his mother Jody Wells of Grand Junction, father Guy Wells of Pensacola, FL, Grandmother Connie Dunn of Perry, brothers Christopher Howarth and Brice Smith of Grand Junction, and uncles Nick Kirk of Grand Junction, Rocy Kirk of Perry, Dusty Dunn of Fayette, Iowa and Davy Kirk of Grand Junction.
