Henry David Alborn was born June 9, 1954 to Henry Sr. and Clementine "JoeAnn" Sidwell Alborn in Perry, Iowa. He died on March 14, 2013 at the Mercy Medical Center in Dubuque, Iowa at the age of 58 years, 9 months, 5 days. He married Marcie Altig in 1975. The couple had two children, Henry John and Kandy. David as most knew him by, farmed with his father and also drove a cement truck. David was a member of the Perry Saddle Club where he had served several years as President and also the Yale Saddle Club for over ten years. He also was a former member of the Guthrie County Sheriff's Reserve, Coon Rapids Police Officer and Assistant Fire Chief of Jamaica. David enjoyed trail riding, watching his daughter take part in horse activities, sports, fishing, camping and spending time with his grandsons. David is survived by Kandy Putz (Denny) of Muscoda, WI; sister Eileen Bonker (Jack) of Jamaica; and two grandsons Derrik Putz and Lukas Putz. He is preceded in death by his parents and his son Henry John and also special friends Ruth & Claude Altig.
