A service for Donna Mae Tolle was held on Saturday, March 30, 2013 at the Hastings Funeral Home in Perry. Visitation was after 12:00 p.m. Friday with family present 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home in Perry. Pastor Paul Burrow of the First United Methodist Church officiated. Honorary casket bearers were the grand-children: Joe Harmon, Jake Jackson, Nicholas Tolle, Joseph Tolle, Nicole Tolle, Shawna Hensley, Kyle Sloss, Michelle McDowell, Merecedes Seemann, Becky Rose Jackson, Teagan Tolle, Briar Tolle, Breonna Tolle, Tevin Tolle, Emily Hull, Kimberely Hull and Wendy Taylor. Recorded music played was: When the Saints Go Marching On and Please Don't Talk About Me When I'm Gone. Internment took place at the Violet Hill Cemetery in Perry. Donna Mae Tolle, daughter of Percy Milo Ashbaugh and Dolly Elizabeth Griffin was born on April 29, 1932 in rural Guthrie County near Linden and died on March 26, 2013, at her home in Perry. Donna was 80 years old. Donna attended school at Panora. Donna married Ronald M. Tolle, Sr. on August 25, 1949 at Nevada, Iowa. Donna worked for several stores during her life and retired as a home-care nurse's aide. Donna enjoyed water aerobics, horses, working in her garden and with her flowers. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Perry. She was preceded in death by her parents, a son Bruce, an infant sister Joyce Ann, a brother Robert, a sister-in-law Dorothy Ashbaugh, a grand-daughter Meredith Seemann, a grand-son Andrew Jackson and a great-grand-son Logan McDowell. Donna is survived by her husband, Ronald Tolle, Sr. of Perry; daughters Rosalie Jackson of Creston, Rosemarie Tolle of Perry, Jacqueline Hull (Richard) of Okanogan, WA, Betty Wright (Don) of San Augustine, TX, Donna Carol Sloss of Guthrie Center and Marilyn Seemann of Woodward. Sons include Ronald Jr. of Perry, Rickey of Woodward, Robert of Perry, brother William of Des Moines, sisters in law Juanita Dorman of Perry and Dorene Tolle of Belle Vista, AR, and many grandchildren, great and great-great grandchildren
