Norma Kay Wildin, 84, of Patterson, passed away on Wednesday, July 27, 2022 at her home. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Monday, August 1, 2022, at the Patterson United Methodist Church in Patterson. Family will greet friends one hour prior, from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow in the Montpelier Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the Patterson United Methodist Church, Unity Point Hospice, or to the family for a future designation. Online condolences may be expressed to the family at www.caldwellparrish.com. Norma Kay (McDonald) Wildin was born April 18,1938, in Madison County, Iowa. She was the daughter of Lloyd and Wilma (Parker) McDonald. She graduated from Patterson High School in 1955, and then attended Drake University, where she studied nurse’s training. On January 5, 1957, she married Larry Wildin. She was a lifetime resident of Madison County, and never moved more than four miles away from Patterson. Norma had many occupations, some of them being; driver, bookkeeper, saleswoman and farm wife. She was a member of 4-H, Madison County Farm Bureau, Patterson United Methodist Church, Madison County Cattlemen’s Association, and Madison County Pork Producers. She is survived by husband, Larry; son, Leslie Wildin; daughters, Connie (Danny) Harvey, and Laurie (Johnny) Jones; son-in-law, Bill Bintner; grandchildren, Melissa (Tim) Grienke, Jenna (Jerrad) Kemp, Brynne (Greg) Bumgardner, Dyonne (James) Hauswirth, Corinne Harvey (Adam Bernstorf), Adam (Lindsie) Hutton, Boone Hutton, David (Whitney) Hutton, Billy Bintner, Brett (Amanda) Jones, Lance (Christine) Jones, Ethan (Katlynn) Jones, Colene Jones (Billy Whitham), Leah Jones (Thomas Hardy) and Wyatt Jones; great grandchildren; Fletcher Kemp,Henry Kemp, Kearsyn Hauswirth, Emily Hauswirth, Oliver Hauswirth, Bennett Hauswirth, Blake Hutton, Hailey Hutton, Reece Hutton, Tabitha Hutton, Madison Hutton, Jaeti Hutton, Julie Hutton, Jemma Lou Hutton, Revere Hutton, Betsy Jones, Lewis Jones, Emerson Jones, Ellinor Jones and Landon Roberts; brother, Denny McDonald; and sister-in-law, Nancy Horn. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd and Wilma McDonald; her daughter, Julie Wildin Bintner; her sister-in-law, Sheenie McDonald; and her in-laws, Lew and Lorraine Wildin.
