Orville Kami Kabamba

Orville Kabamba was born June 22, 20202 to Eugene and Mireille Kabamba in Democratic Republic of The Congo.

The Kabamba family immigrated to the United States from the Democratic Republic of Congo in 2015. They shortly lived in Champaign, IL before moving and settling in Johnston, Iowa where they live since then.

Their son, the late Orville Kabamba, graduated from Johnston High School in 2020, then went to Des Moines Area Community College (DMACC) where he studied Civil Engineering. But, shortly after he started attending DMACC, he was diagnosed with cancer and he battled for 2 years before succumbing to it. However, despite the difficult life lived in the last 2 years, Orville stayed positive and never lost his smile until his last breath was taken from him.
