Pamala Oshel, 49 and Clara Edwards, 68, both of Cedar Bluff, Alabama, formerly of Lorimor, Iowa, died Monday, November 16, 2015. (See separate notice of Clara). A visitation for mother and daughter will be held from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m., Sunday, November 22 at Ochiltree Funeral Service in Winterset, where family will be present to receive friends during this time. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Monday, November 23 at Ochiltree’s with burial to follow in the Lorimor Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to Clara’s family and online condolences may be left for the family at ochiltree.com. Pamala Collette Marts was born June 25, 1966 in Ozark, Arkansas, the daughter of Larry and Clara (Spyres) Marts. She grew up in Ozark and Lorimor and graduated from East Union High School in 1985. She married Tony Oshel at the Christian Union Church in Lorimor and to this union a daughter was born. During her working years Pam was employed as a CNA working in Winterset and Creston. Pam loved animals and took in many strays throughout the years. She opened her home where she fostered many baby kittens but her true animal love was Little Bear, her dog. All this said, she loved her family and any time she could spend with them. She is survived by her daughter, Tara Oshel of Diagonal; her father, Larry Marts of Ozark, AR; siblings, Sarah (Adam) Stichter of Lorimor; Karla Goodwin of Indianola; Debra Eggman of Prescott; John T. Edwards of Lorimor; and step-siblings, Marty, Allen, Glenn, Cathy and Aaron; extended family and a host of friends. Pam was preceded in death by her mother and step-father, John Edwards; brother, Charlie Marts; and her grandparents.
