Pamela A. Mckee

Pamela Ann McKee, age 64, of St. Charles, died Saturday morning, January 22, 2011 at Winterset Care Center South. The family has chosen an immediate cremation. Pamela was born August 6, 1946 to the late Artis LeRoy and Opal (Negaly) Smith in Leon, Iowa. She graduated from high school with the class of 1963 at Mormon Trail High School in Garden Grove, Iowa. She married her husband of over 46 years, Morse Dale McKee, on December 12, 1964 in Indianola, Iowa. To this union two sons, Rodney and Robert, and a daughter, Carla, were born. They made their home in St. Charles, Iowa, where Pamela was a homemaker. She is survived by her husband, Morse of St. Charles; three children, Rodney (wife, Linda) of Missouri, Robert (wife, Mandy) of Underwood, Iowa, and Carla Swanson (husband, Brian) of Winterset; a brother, Bill Smith of Idaho; a sister, Pat of Oelwein, Iowa; and nine grandchildren. Preceding her in death include her parents, Artis LeRoy and Opal (Negaly) Smith; and a brother Bob Smith of Leon, Iowa.
