Pamela Sue Aldrich

Pamela Sue Aldrich was born November 26, 1958 in Des Moines, Iowa, the daughter of Larry and Kaye (McDaniel) Green. Pamela married Steve Aldrich on June 2, 1984 in Adel, Iowa. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and was passionate in her support of children who came from homes less fortunate than hers. She many times sponsored programs in schools providing supplies for children in need and also was involved in many Secret Santa programs for children. Pamela loved doing crafts, enjoyed camping and fishing, and was an avid viewer of the Lifetime channel. Most of all, Pamela loved her family and cherished any and all times she could spend with them. Pamela died peacefully in her sleep Tuesday, June 15, 2010. She was 51. She is survived by her five children, Jeremy Mains (Abbie Frazier) of West Des Moines, Joseph Mains of Menlo, Justin Jenkins (Tonya) of Winterset, Kristin Jorgensen (Josh) of Lorimor, and Joshua Aldrich (Sarah) of Earlham; her parents, Kaye and Don Cave of Redfield; her father, Larry Green of South Carolina; nine grandchildren, Jacob, Chancelor, Dakota, Alexia, Bodhi, Christopher, Lilly, Devin, Savanah, and one on the way (Treyton Steven); one brother, Bill Green of Adel; and one sister, Donola “Dee” Saxton (Tim) of Utah. She was preceded in death by her husband, Steve who died in 2003.
