Patricia Diane Bequette

Patricia Bequette, 81, of Patterson, passed away on February 23, 2024 at her daughters home in Greenfield, Iowa.

Pat was born on February 8, 1943 to Irvin “Dale” and Martha (Newman) Tharp in Des Moines, Iowa. She attended Adel High School and graduated with the class of 1961. Pat worked for the State of Iowa for many years as an administrative assistant.

Pat enjoyed many things in life. She was a good bowler and liked to knit and crochet. She also enjoyed getting outdoors fishing and camping. She loved to travel and took many trips with her family and friends.

Pat is survived by her sons, Jay and Dan (Florian) Bequette; daughters, Marti (Ty) Christensen and Linda (Greg) Steinbock-Badgley; brother, Verlin (Sharon) Tharp; 11 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; and 2 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dale and Martha; her son, Gary; and brother Ralph Tharp.

A celebration of life will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 9, 2024 at the Patterson Community Building. Memorial contributions may be directed to the family for a future designation. Online condolences may be expressed to the family at www.caldwellparrish.com.
