Patrisha Dean

Patrisha Dean, 84, passed away on December 1, 2017 in Des Moines, IA. Services will be held on Friday, December 8, 2017 at 11:00 AM at All Saints Catholic Church in Des Moines, IA. Patrisha was born March 9, 1933 to Matt and Lucille (Evans) Drzewoszewski in Beaver Dam, WI. She married Larry Dean and they raised their son, Patrick. Larry and Patrisha lived together in Des Moines until Larry’s death in 1998 and maintained residence in Des Moines. Patrisha was a woman of many talents and interests. Before being a wife and mother, she worked as a sales representative and in the Polk County Courthouse. She was active in local politics and causes. Patrisha loved the arts and volunteered her time to the Des Moines Symphony Youth Orchestra. In her retirement, she loved games of all kinds and was known to spend Sunday mornings completing the NYTimes crossword puzzles in record times. Friends and family know she was a champion for causes she believed in and a great sense of humor. No challenge was too big for little Patrisha. She is survived by her son Patrick who resides in Arizona. Please join us in celebrating Patrisha's life. We can hug, laugh, cry and share some stories about this special woman.
