Patty Kae Hackbart

Patty Kae Hackbart, 79, died Thursday May 4 at her home surrounded by family and friends. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, May 8 at Panther Creek Church of the Brethren near Adel with burial at Oakdale Cemetery in Adel. Friends may call after Noon Sunday May 7 at McCalley Funeral Home where family will greet friends from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Patty was born December 3, 1937 in Linden, IA to Clyde and Golda Bechtel. She worked at Allied Insurance then Jerry’s Corner in Adel before retiring to be a homemaker. She is survived by her daughter, Jodi Warford; son, Jeff (Vicky) Warford; step-daughter, Sandy (Francis) Coffin; five grandchildren, Jacob Warford, Danielle TaFoya, Aaron Applegate, Mandy O Loughlin and Michael Hackbart; three great grandchildren; one sister, Peggy Lenard and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Louis; sister, Betty Coleman; step-daughter, Robbin Dowdy and grandson, Joshua Hackbart.
