Phyllis Fish

Phyllis Fish, age 63 of Perry, passed away on Monday, May 11, 2020 at the Dallas County Hospital in Perry, IA. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, May 14, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at the Violet Hill Cemetery in Perry. Memorials will be given to family and may be left at the Carris Family Funeral Home & Cremation Care. Phyllis Ann Fish was born on November 29, 1956 at Philadelphia, PA to Robert Marvin and Dora Rose (Ballentine) Widen. She graduated from Perry High School. She worked at the Glen-Gary Brick Yard, Adel, IA, the Redfield Brick & Tile Works and last at the VVS Canteen at Tyson in Perry. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Perry. She enjoyed flower gardening, baking and playing with her grandchildren. In death she rejoins her parents, Robert and Dora and a sister, Beverly Ann Hethcot. Left to cherish Phyllis' memory are her children, Andrea (Gene) Coon, West Des Moines, IA, Bridgett Johnson, Osceola, IA and Matt (Stormy) Fish, Perry, IA, grandchildren, Lanie Fish, Nathan and Wyatt Coon and Yoselin Johnson, brother, Scott (Kathleen) Widen, Urbandale, IA, and her close friends, Kathryn Pentico, Kathy Thornburg and Christy Barton.
