Ralph L. Feldman

July 15, 1927 — March 1, 2004

Ralph was born July 15, 1927 in Litchfield, Nebraska, the son of Henry and Theda (Suntken) Feldman. He married Janice Cline on November 12, 1952 in Winterset, Iowa. Ralph was a farmer in his early life and was later employed by two local elevators prior to retiring in 1992. Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m., Thursday, March 4, 2004 at Ochiltree Funeral Service & Aftercare in Winterset where Pastor Linda Burnett will officiate. A visitation will be held from 1:00 to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 3, 2004 at Ochiltree Funeral Service & Aftercare where the family will be present to receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Burial will be in the Van Meter Cemetery, Van Meter, Iowa with a luncheon to be held at the Van Meter Community Building following the committal. Ralph is survived by his wife, Janice E. Feldman of Van Meter, Iowa; two daughters, Sandra Shufelt and husband, David of Earlham and Debra Jensen and husband, Donald of Keokuk; two sons, Ronald Feldman of Earlham and Richard Feldman of Des Monies; one brother, Robert Feldman and wife, Bonnie of Van Meter; four grandchildren, Jermey Feldman and fiance, Kelly Blackburn, Ryan Feldman, Trista Jensen, and Tyler Jensen; three step-grandchildren, Angela Burgett and husband, Chad and John and Mackenzie Shufelt; and two step-great grandchildren, Ethan and Luke Burgett. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Lill Godown and Clara Sanders; and two brothers, Bill and Frank Feldman. Van Meter Cemetery, Van Meter, Iowa with a luncheon to be held at the Van Meter Community Building following the committal. Visitation: 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, where family will be present to receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 March 3, 2004 at Ochiltree Funeral Service & Aftercare Service: 10:30 a.m. Thursday March 4, 2004 at Ochiltree Funeral Service & Aftercare Memorial: In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the American Cancer Society or Hospice of Central Iowa.
