Hastings Funeral Home Jefferson is in charge of services for Randy Leadley, 58 rural Scranton, died at the Greene County Medical Center in Jefferson on September 1, 2016. Graveside Services will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, September 11, 2016 at Littleton Cemetery in Littleton, Iowa. Randy Mervin Leadley, son of Francis Mervin Leadley and Jeanete Burgher Hansen Leadley, was born August 19, 1958 at Allen Memorial Hospital in Waterloo, Iowa and died September 1, 2016 at the Greene County Medical Center in Jefferson, Iowa at the age of 58. Randy attended East High School in Waterloo and EXPO High School in Evansdale, Iowa. He was united in marriage with Clarice Phillips and they were blessed with two daughters, Jillian LeeAnn and Shonda. The family lived in Evansdale. They were later divorced. Randy worked as a laborer at Winnebago Manufacturing. He later lived in Woodward where he worked at the mushroom farm west of Woodward. Randy lived in Grand Junction where he worked construction. He lived in rural Scranton and worked for the Farner - Bocken Co in Carroll until he was disabled. Randy enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping. Randy was preceded in death his mother November 10, 2010; his brother David; step sister Cindy Nelson and step brother Donnie Nelson. Randy's memory will be cherished by his father Francis (Frank) Leadley of Evansdale; daughters Jillian O'Brien (Casey) of Elk Run Heights; Shonda Fuller (David) Waterloo; three step-sons: Derek Hoyle (Tabby), Steven Hoyle and Jason Hoyle (Emily); four grandchildren and 14 step-grandchildren. He is also survived by his sisters Debra Erickson of Branson, MO; Linda Leadley of Evansdale, IA; and Donna Jones (John) of Frederika, IA; brother Dennis Leadley of Meaian Woods, MO; step-brother Steve Nelson (Cindy) of Waterloo, IA; half-brother Mark Leadley (Laura) of Cedar Falls, IA; other relatives and friends.
