Raymond G. Larson - Winterset

Raymond G. Larson, 79, of Winterset, Iowa, died Thursday, January 10, 2013, at the Madison County Memorial Hospital in Winterset. No services are planned at this time. Raymond was born on August 13, 1933 at Des Moines, Iowa. He served in the United States Air Force during the Korean conflict. Raymond had been a municipal water plant worker for the City of Sioux City until his retirement. He moved to Arizona in 1987 and recently moved to Winterset. Raymond is survived by his daughters, Laura Jean Hunter of Winterset, Cynthia Schnee of Sioux City, and Brenda Scheifen of Granger; three grandchildren; and two great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother, Frances (Dorn) Larsen; son, Raymond A. Larson; and sisters, Laura Humphrey, Florence Warnstate, Dorothy Creary, and Grace Rose.
