Rebecca Gonzalez

Rebecca Gonzalez, 82 of Perry, formerly of Detroit Michigan, passed away Friday, March 2, 2012. Memorial Services were 7:00 p.m. Saturday, March 3, at Hastings Funeral Home in Perry with Rev David Polich of St. Patrick's Catholic Church officiating. Music was provided by her grandchildren. Rebecca was born on August 28, 1930 in Detroit Michigan. She was married to Enrique Gonzalez formerly of La Union De San Antonio, Jalisco Mexico. She was housewife and a single mother who raised her children after her husband died in 1971. Music, cooking and knitting were some of her passions. She is survived by her seven sons: Jose (Mary) Arturo Gonzalez, Jorge (Vivian) Gonzalez, Ruben (Rosa) Gonzalez, Enrique Gonzalez, Fransisco Gonzalez, Luis Gonzalez, and Raul Gonzalez; four daughters: Rebeca Gonzalez, Blanca Gonzalez, Mercedes Gonzalez, and Margarita Gonzalez; 37 grandchildren and 31 great grandchildren. Funeral services took place in Leon Guanajuato Mexico on Friday, March 9, 2012 as her last wish was to be buried with her husband. So much patience, so much love, she always had for all her sons.
