Reginald Levoy Miner, the son of Woodrow Wilson Miner, Sr., and Ethel Mae (Henricks) Miner was born June 4, 1950 in Winterset, Iowa. On March 14, 1997, Reggie married Rhonda Hope at the Zion Church on the Madison County Historical Complex. Reggie was a life long area resident and worked in construction as a laborer most of his life. He most recently was employed by the City of Winterset working for the Street Department. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Marsha Sayre and a great niece, Allannah Maxwell. Reggie served in the United States Marine Corp. He loved to fish for catfish but his true love was his family, especially his grandchildren. He was a big man with a gentle heart. Reggie is survived by his wife, Rhonda Miner of Winterset; a daughter, Brandi Morris and her husband, Dustin of Winterset; a son Brandon Richards and friend, Kate Groves of Winterset; two brothers, Woody Miner and wife, Vicki of Winterset; Dennis Miner and wife, Sherry of Winterset; a sister, Krisha Porter of Winterset; three grandchildren (Dayton, Denim and Dallon); one niece, nine nephews and 14 great nieces and nephews. Visitation: 2:00 to 8:00 p.m., family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. February 11, 2004 at Ochiltree Funeral Service & Aftercare Service: 10:30 a.m February 12, 2004 at Ochiltree Funeral Service & Aftercare Memorial: Memorials may be directed to his family.
